(Claire joined HCT in November 2014, from Nacro, the UK’s largest national crime reduction charity, where she was the service manager of a flagship helpline.

Prior to this, she worked as an Assistant Director for School-Home Support, a national children’s charity that supports vulnerable children and young people, working with them and their families to help overcome the barriers that are preventing them from being in school, ready to learn. This built on eight years of increasingly senior roles at Catch22, another national crime reduction charity working with the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in our society, with her final 5 years in Hackney leading a pupil referral unit and youth inclusion project.

Claire's passion for working with, supporting and enabling people brought her to the role of Head of Community Transport and Stakeholder Engagement).


Pamela Mooroogan

Pamela joined HCT in 2004 as Transport Coordination Centre Supervisor. She progressed on to Transport Coordination Centre Manager, and was responsible for the day to day operations of TCC and it’s services, as well as leading the team. In 2014, Her passion and drive led her to commence the role of Acting Assistant Head of Community Transport Unit.

As Acting Assistant Head of Community Transport Pamela also manages Group Transport in Hackney and Haringey, the team, drivers, our fleet, training, implementing new policies and procedures. She has built up an array of knowledge and skills, as well as an excellent understanding of community transport and the service users.


Scott Davies

Service Delivery Supervisor, Hackney

Scott has worked with HCT Group for over 5 years. He first joined as a casual driver. During his time at HCT, he has gained extensive knowledge, experience and understanding about community transport. He has worked in an array of roles, from a ScootAbility delivery driver, Newham Door2Door driver to TCC operator.

In July 2014, Scott progressed into the role of Service Delivery Supervisor for Group Transport. He is responsible for the operations within the service, in addition overseeing Scootability and Your Car.


Lee Clarke-Wills

Lee joined HCT in 2008 as a driver for the Dial-A-Ride contracts that were being led by HCT. She knew the work very well as she had worked directly for DAR whilst studying for her degree at university.

In February 2009 Lee progressed in HCT, and became the Service Delivery Supervisor in Haringey at the Selby Centre. Her role includes overseeing Dial-A-Ride on daily basis sorting out any issues with drivers, allocating drivers to routes and ensuring that the weekly rota is up to date. Lee has local responsibility for ensuring that the drivers MiDAS is up to date, as well as delivering the MiDAS training (including on road assessments) for Haringey. In May 2015, Lee's role moved to Hackney where we operate Haringey CT from too.


Peter Godsall

Quality and Training Co-ordinator

With over 30 years’ experience in many different roles at HCT, Peter joined HCT as a volunteer, then became Mobility Officer, leading to Client Services Manager. Peter comes with a wealth of knowledge both locally and organisationally.

Since 2009, with his passion to deliver quality training to those wanting to drive a mini-bus, Peter has focused on delivering MiDAS training to the national standard; in 2014, Peter’s role expanded to support staff driver quality standards to match the growth in our with-driver provision.


Sabana Siddique

Volunteer and Outreach Referral Officer

Sabana joined HCT in 2014 as a TCC Operator. As the first point of contact she responded to queries and bookings for transport for clients across our all of our services (Capital Call, ScootAbility and YourCar). She then went on to take the role of CTU Administrator in 2015, working alongside the Assistant Head of CTU providing administration support to the team in Hackney.

On 1st April 2016, Sabana began her current role leading on an exciting new service to support isolated residents of Hackney aged 50 plus to gain confidence to use public transport enabling them to get involved in the community.

Prior to this she managed large teams in a variety of companies, as well as gaining key experience in customer services, over an 8 year period. Her commitment to people resulted in the last 2 years being dedicated to a variety of roles in charities, including Oxfam and the Teachers Support Network.

Her strength and ability to work in challenging and ever changing environments has enabled Sabana to learn quickly and apply her knowledge, offering an incredibly high standard for our Community Transport and customer care.

 


Nurul Hussain

Transport Coordination Centre (TCC) Operator

Nurul joined HCT in 2015 as a TCC Operator. As part of his role, he takes bookings and queries for ‘CapitalCall’, YourCar and ScootAbility.

Prior to joining HCT, Nurul worked in the hospitality sector for 12 years, during which he was responsible for supervising staff, promoting the business and ensuring that the service was delivered to a high standard and customers were satisfied.


Leo Castro

Transport Coordination Centre (TCC) Operator

Leo joined HCT in 2015 as a TCC Operator, working alongside the existing team to take bookings and respond to queries for CapitalCall, YourCar and ScootAbility.

He brings with him his extensive experience from the hospitality sector as a General Manager, where he developed his customer service skills, people management and development in all aspects of running a successful business.

His desire to support people led him to volunteer as an Administrator for Volunteer Centre Hackney before joining HCT. The role was focussed on supporting people to secure voluntary roles and further strengthened his outstanding professional customer care.


Baljeet Panesar

Finance & Administration Officer

Baljeet joined HCT as a part time /job share group transport administrator in1987.Eight years later, in 1995, once her family had grown up, she went on to work full time leading on the furniture recycling together with group transport.

For the next 13 years, Baljeet continued to learn and develop, whilst being an integral person in the success of HCT.

In 2008, Baljeet was successful in moving into her current role, as part time Finance & Administration officer.
